MANLY JUNIOR RUGBY UNION Welcome to the website of Manly Junior Rugby Union. The primary objective of MJRU is to encourage, foster and promote the game of Rugby to be always conducted in an environment of enjoyment, safety, sportsmanship and fair play. MJRU is responsible for the administration and control of Representative and Touring Junior Rugby, and represents the interests of it's 4 very well run Village Clubs - Harbord Harlequins, Manly Roos, Seaforth Balgowlah Raiders and Forest Rugby Club. MJRU also works closely with our neighbours at Warringah to administer Minis Rugby for Under 6's to Under 9's. Manly Junior Rugby Union has been conducting Bi-Annual Tours to New Zealand for over 30 years for it's U11 and Under 12 Age Groups. Current parents of players have participated in past tours, and now see their sons being given the same opportunity to experience playing rugby outside their own country. MJRU has established a Junior Academy for Under 13 and Under 14 players, to enhance the development of young Village club players both mentally and physically, through exposure to specialist coaching. Anyone playing at Representative level in these age groups are eligible to trial for a place in the Academy. This site comes to life around the Representative season between March and June, and is used as one of the communication tools adopted by MJRU. If you are unable to find what you're looking for go to the contacts page and give someone a call.
